How many passport photos fit on a 4 × 6 print?

Eight at 3.5 × 4.5 cm, in two rows of four, with a small gap to cut along and a margin the printer can reach. On A4 paper, thirty fit.

How do I print them at the right size?

Download the PDF and print it at actual size, 100%, not "fit to page". The PDF is exactly the size of the paper, so each photo comes out at 3.5 × 4.5 cm. At a photo shop, ask for a 4 × 6 inch print of the JPG; it is 1800 × 1200 pixels at 300 DPI.

Can I use these for my passport application?

Not for an Indian passport: the photo is taken at the Passport Seva Kendra. They are for forms, ID cards, admit cards and applications that ask for printed passport-size photos. Many passport offices abroad reject photos with an edited background.

Can it make the background white?

Yes. White background finds you in the photo with a small model that runs on your device (about 4 MB the first time). A plain light wall behind you still gives the cleanest edge.

What is 2 × 2 inch for?

It is the square size used for US visa and passport photos. Check the current rules of the authority you are applying to before printing.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The sheet is made in your browser on your own device.
